Pet Safety: Essential oils are generally safe to diffuse around adult cats and dogs intermittently. Ensure the room you’re diffusing in is well-ventilated and that your pet can leave if desired. BATH SALTS: Combine: 1 drop of Eucalyptus (Radiata), 1 drop of Peppermint, 1 drop of Frankincense (Carterii) and 2 drops of Frankincense Serrata with 1 tablespoon of Jojoba oil and 1/2 cup of Epsom salts. Stir together and add to running bath water for a relaxing soak following a hefty workout.
DIFFUSION: Add: 5 drops of Eucalyptus (Radiata) to a diffuser and run for 15-20 minutes.
OILY SKIN: Add to a 2 ounce bottle: 4 drops of Eucalyptus (Radiata), 1 drop of Carrot Seed, 4 drops of Frankincense (Frereana), 3 drops of Lavender (Bulgarian or French) and Polysorbate 20 (manufacturer's recommended amount). Top off with witch hazel. Shake well to combine before applying to skin. Shelf life: 1 week
CLEANING SPRAY: To an 8 ounce spray bottle add: 26 drops of Eucalyptus (Radiata), 40 drops of Lemon and 32 drops of Tea Tree, then fill with 3/4 distilled water and 1/4 grain alcohol. Shake well before using as a cleaning spray, to be sure the oils are dispersed in the water.
INSECT REPELLENT POTPOURRI: Place 2 cups of dried flowers or potpourri in a decorative bowl. Sprinkle: 10-15 drops of Eucalyptus (Radiata) over the dried flowers. Place in an area where you want to ward off flying insects.
